Actually, he’s got lots of things; Fabulous friends, fabulous accolades and LOTS of hair. Jealous?!
Last week Marty Richards celebrated his 80th birthday at the Reubin Museum. The party is best described as an event ‘crusted with celebrities’ or ‘encrusted with crusted celebrities’ (even though some of them were young). Many of us dread turning 80, but when your party is hosted by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas there’s little to complain about.
The birthday boy, best known as the producer of Chicago ( 2002 ), looked beautiful in a forest green embossed velvet blazer and despite his current battle with liver disease he looked the pinnacle of health.
In true Broadway style the party went on far too late. The Lonnie Youngblood Band were eventually shafted by an assortment of Broadway diva’s that made out like it was open mic night at Marie's Crisis. Everyone hobbled away smiling. Most of those teeth weren't original.
